St Anthony's has wonderful huge grounds and we are making good use of these with a Forest School and Farm School.
All of our children, from our pre-school up to Year 6, love visiting the farm school and tending to the animals’ different needs. As well as giving children practical skills and an important sense of responsibility, it also imbues our pupils with a real sense of wonder and enthusiasm about nature and the outside world. We hope that this stays with them long after they have left us.
Our animals are well loved and the children love taking care of them. The staff love the farm too.
Our Forest School is also well loved - the children love toasting marshamallows round the campfire, building dens and exploring the wooded area. They also enjoy spotting the fairy doors and writing letters to our school fairies and elves.
